Default Class Specifics

I thought it would be usefull to point some things out about different classes and theyre skills.

Monks: -1 upkeep spells such as enchantments. Ressurect. A health sacrifice...
Warriors: Shouts and Adrenal skills and attacks. Stances.
Ranger: Stances. Preparations.
Mesmers: Stances. Energy Drains.
Elementalists: Exhaustion. Wards.
Necros: Sacrifice Spells.
Ritualist: Ressurect. Hold Items.
Assasin: uhm?

Notice that NO other classes than monks have energy upkeep. Keep it that way!
Notice Warriors are the only class with shouts (Ranger BM skills are NOT shouts) Keep it that way!!
Notice Elementalists have exhaustion, no other class.

Please take into account that these are specific to classes and that it does not make since to add these effects to new classes you have created, and your new class should have their own unique attributes and skills that no other classes have.

There are certain downfalls and pleasures of being in a class, and should not be spread around (even though it only seems right to balance a skill with exhaust or sumthing). Look at all the other skills and no one other than eles have have exhaust, no one other than monks have -1 regen...etc...

(ps: I'm not sure this should be in this forum, but on the new classes i thought it was only right to say it here)

Not sure what the point of this thread is, but necromancers are the only profession with a health sacrifice mechanic. Preperations are exclusive to rangers.

Not true at all. Infuse health has the same thing.

I suggest getting rid of all of these and giving similar mechanics to all classes (Where they fit). Mantras were originally going to be the skills with -1 regen according to old dev interviews anyways.

I'm being very specific here. They are the only class with skills that say "Sacrifice X% Health". But I still dont get the point of the thread, if any.

As of Factions, there will be assassin and mesmer skills involving exhaustion, and assassins will have two maintained enchantments.

Also, I can't believe you forgot to mention corpse exploitation for necros.
